Creating Your First Ticket Panel
A ticket panel is the embed message users click to open a support ticket. Once deployed, users click the button and TixBot creates a private ticket channel instantly.
âšī¸Before you start
Make sure you've set a support role and ticket category in Settings before creating your first panel, otherwise ticket channels won't be visible to your staff.
Creating a Button Panel
1
Go to Panels in the dashboard
From your server dashboard, click Panels in the left sidebar.
2
Click New Panel
Click the New Panel button. Choose Button Panel for a simple single-button panel, or Dropdown Panel if you want users to choose from multiple ticket types.
3
Configure the embed
Set the embed title (e.g. "Support Tickets"), description (e.g. "Click below to open a support ticket"), and choose an embed colour. This is the message users will see.
4
Set up the button
Give your button a label (e.g. "Open Support Ticket"), choose an emoji, and select which ticket type it opens. If you haven't created a ticket type yet, create one first in Ticket Configuration.
5
Deploy to a channel
Select the Discord channel you want the panel to appear in â usually a dedicated #create-a-ticket or #support channel. Click Send to Channel.
â
Your panel is live
The panel embed will appear in the channel you selected. Click the button to test it â a ticket channel should be created in your tickets category.
Tips
- âĸLock the panel channel so users can only read it, not send messages â this keeps it clean
- âĸYou can have multiple panels in different channels for different purposes
- âĸEdit or redeploy panels at any time from the dashboard without losing history
- âĸUse dropdown panels if you have multiple support categories (e.g. Sales, Technical, Billing)
